Aviation recipe

A very pleasant recipe for Aviation, with gin, maraschino liqueur, lemons and sugar.

  • 1 1/4 oz gin
  • 1/4 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 3 - 5 pinches sugar
  • juice of 1 lemons

Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
Juice the lemon and add to the shaker.
Add a little sugar, if desired.
Pour in gin and maraschino, and shake.
Serve straight up in a cocktail glass.

The strict recipe does not have any sugar, but I like to add a little.

Serve in a Cocktail Glass.
